Research Facilities available with Research Center

The institute has procured state of the art software facilities to encourage research. These facilities are used by research candidates registered in the centre as well as the faculty members in the institute to conduct research activities in various domains of their areas of interest.

Two workstations are procured for research work with configuration as follows:

Model: HP Z4 G4 Workstation with RTX 6000 Graphics, Intel Xeon W- 2245 3.9Ghz, 8C 155W  CPU, 32 GB (2*16) DDR4 293.3 DIMM ECC Memory. 1 TB 7200RPM SATA 3.5 in, Nvidia Quadro RTX 6000  24GB(4)DP+USBc, Intel Ethernet 1210-T1 PCLe * Gb NIC, HP Wired mouse & HP Wired Keyboard, HP Linux Ready.

Also, 21 PCs having the configuration as DH87RL, core i5, 4GB RAM, 500GB HDD, LG Monitor, along with printers and LCD projector are available for the Research students for their research work.

In addition to this, following software and hardware facilities are available.

A)Software facilities:

i) The software MATLAB R2022a is available campus wide, which is used by the research candidates and faculty.
ii) The Center for Research and Intellectual Entrepreneurship(CeRIE) lab is developed at Institute In collaboration with Cummins India Limited. It is equipped with advanced computers having Ansys HFSS (High Frequency Structure Simulator) and the campus wide license of Matlab R2022a software. Various types of antennas can be designed using this software.
iii) The license of software Qualnet 6.1 is available in the institute. It is a network simulator software that supports research activities in wireless sensor networks.

B) Hardware facilities:

Some of the major instruments  purchased for research are:

i. Spectrum Analyzer(4GHz with signal tracking facility).
ii. Mixed Signal Oscilloscope(4 channel, 500MHz).
iii. One TI Flix 3 infrared thermal camera.
