Cultural Clubs and Activities:
College has many cultural clubs such as Music club, Dance club, Cultural club-Kalawant which are managed by students and supported by college.
An art exhibition is conducted every year by the Kalawant club. This exhibition brings out the hidden talents among the students in the form of photographs, paper quilling, pencil sketching, abstract painting, embroidery, sculpture, canvas painting doodling etc.
Students organize and actively participate in various events and activities such as Freshers party for first year students, Farewell Evening for final year students, Alumni meet etc.
College cultural Festival
A grand cultural fest of college, “GANDHAAR” is celebrated with great enthusiasm every year which is a week-long event. Various competitions are conducted during this fest like the departmental antakshari, rangoli, treasure hunt, trashion, BE fashion show, Cultural dance, painting, sketching, doodling, snap hunt, singing, open mic, debeat street plays and many more. The event also give platform for various inter collegiate competitions like dance competition, street plays etc. Along with this a pre “GANDHAAR” week activities are conducted.
These events are a wonderful blend of traditional Indian classical styles and Western music and dance styles. It showcases a beautiful Indian culture and heritage.
The whole campus becomes lively, energetic, vibrant, a happy place. The amount of talent on display is heartening, astounding and leaves one in awe and inspired.
Intercollege and Intra-college Competitions
Students are motivated to prepare for rigorously, and compete in prestigious intercollegiate drama competitions like ‘Purushottam’ ; ‘Suman Karandak’ and a variety entertainment competition like ‘Firodiya Karandak’ which are popular, challenging and fun. All girls teams are fresh in approach, and compete on equal terms and exceed expectations and earn lot of admiration for their talents, dedication, performances.
College support for cultural activities
College also provides support for cultural activities, events in many forms. Grounds, open air and closed auditoriums, all kind of spaces big and small, to conduct these events. College also supports students with significant funds for cultural fests and events. Support is also in form of provision of Resources needed, audio video equipment, stage equipment , drama props, variety of musical instruments.
