IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers) Students’ Branch
IEEE is the world’s largest professional society dedicated to advancing technological innovation and excellence for the benefit of humanity. IEEE student branch of CCEW was established in 2002. IEEE student branch comes under IEEE Region 10, Asia Pacific Region and is attached to IEEE Pune section from 2010 after its formation. College encourages students to take IEEE student membership and the meritorious students are given 50% concession in registration fees from the year 2009.
Various technical and non-technical activities are conducted under IEEE student branch. The activities include workshops, industrial visits, guest lectures, webinars, panel discussion, competitions etc. Through these activities students get exposure to recent trends in the technological field as well as they get the opportunity to work for the society which helps in overall development of the students.
